Honey Garlic Chicken

3 Chicken Breast cut into 1" strips

Salt and Pepper

2 Large Cloves Minced Garlic

1/2 Cup Water

1 Tbsp Corn Starch

1/2 Cup Honey

2 Tbsp GF Soya Sauce

2 Tbsp Olive Oil

1 Tbsp Butter

  1. Heat your olive oil in a skillet over medium heat (I prefer to use a cast iron)

  2. Once your oil is hot, place your chicken strips in the pan and season with salt and pepper

  3. While your chicken is frying, mix up the water, corn starch, honey, and soya sauce in a container

  4. Once your chicken is almost done, place the butter in the centre of the pan and let it melt and add your minced garlic to the melted butter

  5. Stir the garlic around until its fragrant and browned then dump in your pre-made sauce and turn heat down to low

  6. Stir your chicken and sauce around until it thickens (If sauce isn't thickening then you might need to turn the element back up a bit, or add a little more cornstarch/water mixture)

  7. Serve over a bed of rice with a veggie side!
