Pizza

1 2/3 Cup Brown Rice Flour

1/2 Cup Potato Starch

1/3 Cup Tapioca Starch

1 1/2 Tsp Xanthan Gum

1 Tbsp Rapid-Rise Yeast

1 Tsp Salt

1 Tsp Granulated Sugar

1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder

3 Tbsp Olive Oil

1 Large Egg

1 Cup WARM Water

  1. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl

  2. With a mixer, add the olive oil, egg and 3/4 cup of WARM water (the remaining 1/4 cup is only if you need it). The dough should form a ball, but if it feels or appears too dry add water a little at a time. You want to be able to handle the dough so not too sticky.

  3. Beat or knead for another 2-3 minutes

  4. Divide dough in 2 and spread or roll out. I use pizza stones, but whichever you have on hand is fine. If you don't have a stone I recommend using parchment paper under your dough.

  5. I find the easiest method for spreading out my dough is coating my hands in tapioca flour and spreading it with my digits.

  6. Allow crust to rise for about 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 400. Bake crust for 5 minutes, then take out and top with your favourite toppings and stick it back in for another 15 minutes or so! Enjoy!
